Welcome

The University recognizes the extreme seriousness of HIV infection and AIDS, and in view of the implications of the disease, at the workplace, on places of study and in the wider society, it is committed to formulating and implementing strategies to deal with the issue. In response to this, the University runs a compreshensive HIV/AIDS programme that it runs in partnership with Higher Health, formerly known as HEAIDS. The programme has been extended to include other aspects of health and wellness such as:

1. COVID-19

2. Disability

3. HIV/TB/STI

4. LGBTQI+

5. Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention

6. Sexual Reproductive Health, Maternal Health and Contraception

7. Gender Based Violence

8. Mental Health
