Prof Macleod, who has been on the editorial board of the international journal Feminism & Psychology since 2010, has now been appointed Associate Editor of the journal. Feminism & Psychology is one of a handful of journals that provide a forum for debate at the interface between feminism and psychology. The journal's principal aim is to “foster the development of feminist theory and practice in and beyond psychology”. Ranked 11 out of 35 international journals in Women’s Studies, it publishes high-quality original research, theoretical articles, and commentaries. As Associate Editor Prof Macleod will have two main roles: action editing manuscripts (which involves managing the peer review process from identifying reviewers through to drafting an editorial decision letter guided by reviewer feedback); sharing a leadership role in helping to develop and promote the journal.
