A number of academic awards are made annually for outstanding performance in Information Systems. The awards were presented at the graduation award ceremony which took place on Thursday 4th April 2024 as follows:
- The BSG Award for the Best Information Systems II (IS Professional) Student is jointly awarded to: Thandoluhle Gumede and Makomborero Murwira
- The Award for the Best Information Systems II (Accounting Professional) Student is awarded to: Ntobeko Mfeka
- The Lydia Palmer Award for the Best Information Systems II Systems Analysis Student is awarded to: Bulelwa Busakwe
- The Open Box Software Award for the Best Information Systems III Student is awarded to: Denzel Matapuri
- The BSG Award for the Best Information Systems III Systems Development Project is awarded to: Rinae Galani, Bethuel Kubushi, Oyama Mbatani, Zamokuhle Nkumane and Tebogo Nomnqa
- The Standard Bank Award for the Best Information Systems III Systems Development Project - second place is awarded to: Tyler Baxter, Wynne Edwards, Manu Jourdan and Cameron Wicks
- The Standard Bank Award for the Best Information Systems III Systems Development Project - third place is awarded to: Inam Gazi,
Carmen Kock, Tshivhuya Netshivhambe and Lindiwe Sibiya - The BSG Shared Award for the Best Information Systems Honours Student is jointly awarded to: Chenai Tendayi
- The MRI Award for the Best Information Systems Honours Research Project is awarded to: Brian Kanosvamira
- The Mel Field Shared Award for the Best Information Systems Tutor is awarded to: Itumeleng Ramala
- The John McNeill Altruistic Award for the Unselfish Support of Colleagues is awarded to: Brian Kanosvamira
