Interview with Justin Lupele
Justin Lupele holds a PhD and MEd in Environmental Education from Rhodes University, MSc Project Management from Cavendish University Zambia and a University of Zambia Diploma in Agricultural Education obtained from Natural Resources Development College.
Justin Lupele honed his skills and experience in environmental education after attending a SADC/Rhodes International Course in Environmental Education in 2000. A year later he was selected to tutors on the course and went on to co-managed the course over the next two years. As the coordinator of the SADC Regional Environmental Education Course Development Network he supported the growth of environmental education in southern Africa. After graduating with a PhD, he held the position of Chief of Party for three different USAID funded education projects in Zambia, before co-founding Beehive Associates Limited – an environment and education consulting firm, contributing to education policies as well as projects including the WASH in schools; and those focusing on climate change; fisheries and acquaculture subsector; legal practitioners’ professional development; agriculture; teacher professional development; and natural resource managent.
